The prayer vigil took place between Krakow and Wieliczka, at the field which has already been named Campus Misericordiae. The name of this place is very significant: it was named by the people who prepared this area for the meeting that will take place between the youth and the Holy Father. They have built a house here for those who suffer which will remain as a testimony of faith as a result of this encounter.

As part of the World Youth Day events in Poland, the Pilgrims for Clifton and Plymouth Diocese made a visit to Auschwitz and Birkenau. Pope Francis will be visiting this site later in the week and will spend some time in quiet personal prayer.

Over 1,500 Pilgrims from all around Clifton Diocese enjoyed an amazing Pilgrimage to Glastonbury on Sunday 10 July. The theme this year was ‘Mary, Mother of Mercy’ and gave everyone a chance to visit one of the four doors within the Diocese designated a ‘Holy Door’ for this Jubilee Year of Mercy.
