Father Aidan Murray SDB, our Parish Priest in Newent and Blaisdon, is planning something special for the ladies of his parish.  The day of rest and blessing for women takes place on Saturday 10 July.

The all day event begins at 9.30 am and runs until 4.00 pm.  There will be adoration, reconciliation and prayer at 4.30 pm and Mass will be celebrated at 5.30 pm.

Writing in the Forest of Dean parish’s packed July newsletter, Father Aidan says: “Our next big event is Ladies Day!  A day of rest and blessing for women, with great speakers and a great opportunity to talk with like-minded ladies from many other parishes. 

“The cost is £10.00 but don’t let that stop you.  Make a donation of what you think is right for you.  Please make sure to book with Mary Francis so that we know what numbers to expect.  Make this your day ‘because you’re worth it!’”
