A day has been organised by our Department for Adult Education and Evangelisation which will show how the whole parish community should be accompanying those who are coming into the Church, and that it is not just something which happens on a Thursday night!
The event takes place on Tuesday 30 June at Newman Hall on Grange Court Road, Westbury-on-Trym, Bristol BS9 4DR. It begins at 11.00 am and runs until to 4.00 pm.
A team from the National RCIA (Rite of Christian Incitation of Adults) Network will show how it is so important for the whole parish to be involved in the RCIA process and how this ultimately has an enriching effect on the spiritual life of a parish. As well as the main speakers there will also be workshops.
Director of our Department for Adult Education and Evangelisation Father Michael McAndrew said: “I encourage parishioners to attend this day, but it would be of special interest to those who lead the RCIA team in your parish.”
Coffee and tea will be available from 10.30 am, but please bring a packed lunch.
