The Roman Missal - Priests' Study Day

Following the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments’ approval of the definitive English text of the Third Edition of ‘The Roman Missal’, our Liturgy Department has been quick to organise study days.

The publication of the revised translation provides us with an opportunity to deepen our understanding of the theology of the Eucharist and the importance of our liturgical celebrations. 

The further dates for priests’ study days are Tuesday 26 October and Tuesday 23 November.  Further information will be made available here on cliftondiocese.com by our Liturgy Department. 

There are also study days for permanent deacons and lay people in each of the four counties of our diocese.

The date for the publication of the ‘The Roman Missal’ and its implementation is a matter to be determined by Bishops’ Conferences in conjunction with the Holy See.
