A Century of Service

After over a century serving the Cotswold town of Chipping Campden, the Sisters of Charity of St Paul have left the town.

From being involved in teaching at St Catharine's primary school the sisters were still involved in the parish, visiting and holding meetings in their convent. Numbers dwindled to two and the order decided to close the convent and the sisters went back to the Mother House in Selly Oak, Birmingham.

Father John Brennan, Parish priest of St Catharine's said: "The sisters have been a great asset to the life of the parish over many years and will be greatly missed."
