A Pilgrimage of Hope

On 15 September, Jo Boyce & Mike Stanley will release their long-awaited new album ‘Age to Age’ featuring new arrangements of many of the well-loved, classic Catholic hymns that are etched onto the lips and hearts of churchgoers of all ages. Boyce & Stanley will be playing at St Teresa’s Church in Filton, Bristol.

What began as a 10th anniversary of the singing-songwriting partnership of Boyce & Stanley, has grown into a milestone project celebrating more than three generations of song and faith and has already won support from the Archbishop of Birmingham, Most Reverend Vincent Nichols who suggests the project is a, “wonderful bridging of generations of musical appreciation and involvement which does so much to support the life of prayer and the devotional life of Catholic faith.”

To mark the release of the album, Boyce & Stanley and their band will be performing nine concerts in various locations, this autumn – including St Teresa’s Church in Filton, Bristol on Sunday 14 October.

“For us, it’s a journey of thanksgiving for the songs that have helped shape our faith over the years, and a pilgrimage of hope as we pray for the future of the church and the continued renewal of the life of worship that we share.”, said Jo Boyce. “Even if people can’t make any of the concert dates, we would ask them to join their prayers with ours as we journey.” adds Mike Stanley.
