Age: Blessing or Burden?

Next month the spiritual care of older people is the focus of a conference in Salisbury.

Led by Reverend James Woodward, the conference aims to explore the needs of older people through conversation, reflection on experience and engaging with some of the theories of age, ageing and pastoral theologies of ageing.

It takes place from Friday 15 to Sunday 17 January at Sarum College.

Participants will work together in five sessions to better understand the needs of older people and respond pastorally to age in self and others.
 
The conference will interest anyone who is engaged in pastoral care or wants to be challenged to think differently about age.
