Animal Magic

Horses, dogs, guinea pigs, a hamster and (vicariously!) a cat all came together for a special animal blessing occasion with Wellington Catholic priest, Father Bob Rainbow.

Many people were made welcome at the home of Mary and Knut Ravnkilde, near Greenham, when Mary organised the blessings with together with Holcombe Rogus Vicar, Reverend Keith Gale!

Mary is a very active parishioner at St John Fisher Catholic Church in Wellington, being an ardent campaigner for third world issues, as well as running her own horses and sheep.

Hymns were accompanied by Paddy Finnegan and Julia Tucker on guitars. The service was followed by tea and cake for the guests, with sugar-lumps for the horses.
