An Aquinas Lecture by the distinguished Dominican, Father Paul Murray OP, at the University of Bristol Catholic Chaplaincy.
Dr Fernando Cervantes, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Historical Studies at the University of Bristol, said: “Father Paul Murray OP is a Dominican friar of the Irish Province and Professor at the University of St Thomas Aquinas, also known as the Angelicum, in Rome, where he teaches courses on medieval spirituality and literature.
“He is also a well-known poet and is a learned and eminent writer as well as an engaging and accessible speaker and we are therefore delighted welcome him on this centenary year to deliver the Aquinas lecture, which he has entitled: ‘Aquinas at Prayer: The Interior Life of a Mystic on Campus’.”
