Masses have been celebrated throughout our diocese to mark Ash Wednesday. cliftondiocese.com brings you a podcast from Bath as Lent begins.
Our podcast is from St John the Evangelist Church in Bath city centre. We speak with Father Peter Cornwell just after he celebrated Mass this morning (17 February). He tells what he said in his homily this morning and why he doesn’t look forward to Lent.

Father Peter has a series of Lenten reflections taking place in St John's parish hall. They begin at 12.30pm and last half an hour. The theme is 'Faith Seeking Understanding'. They begin next Monday (22 February) and run every week until 22 March. All are welcome.
