Country Holidays for Inner City Kids is a registered UK charity that
provides free respite breaks for disadvantaged children from all parts
of the UK. The charity is seeking needy children in and around the
Clifton Diocese who will benefit from such a break.
The children we assist must meet the required criteria, which includes
not having a break anywhere else and they must be referred by a
professional person such as priest, vicar, doctor, school teacher,
social worker or similar.
Roy Endacott, Chief Executive of CHICKS, said, “As part of our own
expansion plans over the next three years we aim to help over 1000
children a year and we hope to assist the most needy children from all
areas of the country – whether from rural areas, where pockets of
deprivation have increased tremendously, or from the poor inner city
areas.
“As part of this process I feel the church is well placed to help
identify children from families that won’t get a break anywhere else
that would particularly benefit from a CHICKS break. More information
is available on our website and I would appreciate you passing this
information on.”
