Beautiful Morning

17 February 2008

A series of stunning images featuring Clifton Cathedral bathed in an unusual light has been compiled.  cliftondiocese.com brings you the pictures in our special image gallery.

The photographs of the Cathedral at sunrise were taken recently by Alan Rundle.  He told cliftondiocese.com that he was out running early one morning on the Downs in Clifton.  Alan spotted the stunning sky scene and nipped backed to his car to grab his camera as he didn’t want to miss this golden opportunity.

According to Alan it is a rarity to get such shots.  This time of the year is only time the Cathedral would be seen, as in the spring and summer the tree foliage obscures the fleche of the Cathedral.

You can enjoy Alan’s photographs in the image panel on the right.
