cliftondiocese.com on how you can help others with
Book Aid.
Every year the charity Book Aid collects surplus Bibles from all over the country as well as other Christian books to send to deprived areas overseas. There will be a van from Book Aid at the Christian Resources Exhibition at Exeter at the end of January collecting these books.
We took down our surplus last year - it is amazing how many come down thorough the family! It’s very sad to have perfectly serviceable Bibles lying around lonely and unloved when there are so many overseas who hunger after one.
If parishes or deaneries could organise a collection and then drop them off either with us - we live between Wells and Wedmore in Somerset - or at some convenient central point somewhere within the area - we would be very grateful as would those hungry for the Word of God overseas.
Another collection point is at The Old Deanery on Cathedral Green in Wells.
Don’t worry about volume or weight - we have a one tonne trailer!
