Bristol Life Meeting

The Bristol Life group aims to support women faced with a crisis pregnancy.

Local organiser Dr Phil McCarthy said: “We are in urgent need of volunteers to support this work. We also need qualified counsellors who are prepared, to offer their help, and to undertake the Life course. We will be holding a meeting at our Care Centre off Berkley Road and King’s Drive junction in Bishopston, at the top end of St Bonaventure’s car-park, on Saturday 18 February.

The meeting begins at 2.00 pm and you can contact Peter Hearn for more information ahead of the meeting.

Dr Phil added: “We invite people to arrive a little bit earlier to have some refreshment and have a look round the centre. At the meeting we will clarify the ways in which we need help. There will also be a representative from Life headquarters who will address the issue of setting up a Life charity shop. If you care about this issue and feel you can help in even the smallest way, please do come to this meeting.”
