Catholic Chaplaincy Peru Fund-raising
In response to Bishop Declan's appeal at the Chrism Mass this year to
assist a parish in Peru where a Clifton Priest ministers as Parish
Priest, Bristol University Catholic Chaplaincy held a fund-raising
event last Friday (12 May) night.
The bar at the Chaplaincy was opened for a few hours and students were invited to come along and to bring their friends too. Despite it being the run up to the exam period, a large number of people took the time to come and help raise money.
As well as asking for donations in lieu of an admission charge, all profits from the drinks sold are being given to the appeal.
