Catholic Women's League Celebrates 100 Years

This year sees the Catholic Women's League (CWL) is celebrating its Centenary, and Region Seven (the Cardiff and Clifton dioceses) is celebrating on Saturday 27 May at St Peter's Church in Cardiff - the oldest church in the city (pictured) which was designed by Bristolian Charles Hanson.

Mass will be concelebrated by Most Reverend Peter Smith of Archbishop of Cardiff; Bishop Right Reverend Edwin Regan, Bishop of Wrexham; Bishop Declan; Father Alan Finley, Branch Chaplain of Clifton CWL and Father Michael Cronin, Branch Chaplain of Cardiff CWL.

Over 100 section members from Cardiff and Clifton will be attending the Mass followed by lunch. The Lord Mayor of Cardiff and Sheila Jennings CWL, National President, will be among the many guests.
