Lynne Chitty who is soon to become a Deacon at Gloucester Cathedral is
setting up an ecumenical animal welfare prayer group. Lynne’s plans see
the majestic Gloucester Cathedral becoming an ecumenical centre for
prayerful reflection on a range of subjects. The theology of all of
creation is one of those, and Lynne is working closely with Deborah
Jones of Catholic Concern for Animals in producing a programme of
events about animals and the environment which is bound to attract all
those who care about the compassionate Christian treatment of all
living creatures.
