Creative Home Work at Cheltenham Academy

Instead of traditional written homework, All Saints’ Academy in Cheltenham offers a slightly different alternative, an independent learning task (ILT). This allows students to think of a creative way to present a topic they are studying in many different forms.
Jake Sheppard a Year 11 student at All Saints’ shocked his teachers with an outstanding ILT in science. The creative young man wrote a song and edited together a video about the science subject ‘homeostasis’.
The video is available to view on All Saints’ Academy’s YouTube channel. Jake’s video already has over 300 hits and is proving to be popular with students at All Saints’ to learn the processes of homeostasis.
