24 Hours for Vocations

Dear Friends of Clifton Diocese, Good Shepherd Sunday, World Day of Prayer for Vocations to the Priesthood and Consecrated Life is upon us again. To mark this, we are inviting you to engage in 24 Hours for Vocations, also known as 24H4V.

24H4V is an opportunity for the diocese to storm heaven with our prayers and offerings for vocations to the priesthood and consecrated life, as well as supporting our seminarians and all who are discerning their call in life.
24H4V offers 4 main areas for prayer, with 6 intentions for each area, thus a total of 24 intentions. Perhaps you can’t devote an hour to each of the intentions. Well, your prayers or offerings alone are important enough!
Just spend some time with each intention and offer these to the Lord.

24H4V is not all about sitting and praying! Perhaps you might offer 24 hours of work or some activity for these 24 intentions. I will be doing so by cycling from London to Paris in 24 hours! What will you do?

God bless,
Fr Matt
