WYD Week 1

We departed from the diocese on Wednesday 20th July and return on Monday 1st August. During this time we invite all parish prayer groups, clergy, religious communities, families, the housebound and all parishioners to pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy each day for us.

We will remember all parish and religious communities at the overnight Vigil with Pope Francis.

Please enjoy the whole experience with us through our Social Media presence on these pages over the coming days.

Some of us have been trained in media and attended a very special day in London recently to  learn how to make great stories and how to maximise the whole event through the website and other outlkets such as Instagram and Twitter: See below!

Sixty World Youth Day Communications Officers from England and Wales will not only pray and worship in the presence of Pope Francis in Krakow, they’ll also take up his challenge to communicate the Gospel message of mercy around the world using a host of social media platforms. ‪#‎Krakow2016‬ ‪#‎PopeFrancis‬
