East Bristol Celebrates 50 Years of CAFOD

CAFOD’s (Catholic Agency for Overseas Development) first 50 years will be mark with a cultural shared lunch.

The parishes of our Bristol East Deanery are invited to forego their lunch and joining together at St Nick’s.

People will be able to buy their lunch at the inner-city Bristol parish as a fundraiser for CAFOD.

The suggested donation is just £2.00 per dish.

St Nick’s Parish Priest Father Richard McKay told cliftondiocese.com: “There will be food, songs and dance from many cultures and nations, as well as a short explanation of CAFOD’s work and its importance.

“Let us make this a real deanery success for the sake of the poor of the world.  All are welcome.”
