The Emmaus House Team has published the latest edition of its popular
newsletter ‘Emmaus Journey’. Included in the second edition are
articles on the history and origins of Emmaus House, the refurbished
Meditation Room and forthcoming workshops. The full programme of
courses and workshops up to the end of 2006 is also included.
The revamped website gives a flavour of what goes on at Emmaus House.
The programme can also be found here, with links to each course giving
comprehensive details on content, trainers, timings and costs. Booking
forms can be downloaded and emailed to secure your place on the
courses. As always, feedback is appreciated and the Emmaus House Team
is keen to receive comments on the website.
The Friends of Emmaus met in December last year to discuss fundraising
for the House. One of the outcomes of this meeting is the introduction
of a scheme of Gift Vouchers available in denominations of £10, £20 and
£50. You can now treat a loved one, friend or colleague to a retreat,
massage, workshop, books or a delicious meal at Chez La Retraite
Restaurant.
The Friends will be getting together again on Saturday 8 July. If you
are interested in joining them and helping to further the work done at
Emmaus House, please contact us for an application form (you can
telephone, email or use the Information Request Form on the website).
Enjoy reading Emmaus Journey – the Emmaus House Team hope to have the
opportunity to welcome you here in the not-too-distant future.
