Students at the University of Bristol are well know for their enquiring nature when it comes to study and research, but those young people who form the community at the university’s
Catholic Chaplaincy now getting competitive about their popular quiz nights.
The latest in a very popular series of quizzes arranged for students at the University of Bristol Catholic Chaplaincy was held recently. Four teams of students went head-to-head in a number of team competitions including scrabble and card tower construction. The final round involved the construction of a newspaper bridge spanning a gap between two tables. The bridges were then tested to destruction by loading them with hymn books! After the first bridge fell at twelve and the second at twenty-five, the final victorious bridge held all the hymn books in the Chapel and so was declared the winner. Next week will see the students return for a more traditional pub quiz.
