Father Tom Enjoying Unfolding Wisdom with Our Saints

28 January 2011

One of our priests who's a chaplain to two schools is enjoying listening to our podcast series starring children in our local Catholic schools.

'Unfolding Wisdom with Our Saints' is our audio series which is part of ‘Unfolding Wisdom’ - the way we are celebrating the Year of Catholic Education in our diocese.

Parish Priest of St Teresa of the Child Jesus in Filton, Bristol Father Tom Finnegan is also Chaplain toSt Bede's Catholic College in Lawrence Weston at St Teresa'sPrimary School in Monks Park.  He's checking  cliftondiocese.com every Monday so as not to miss the latest episode of 'Unfolding Wisdom with Our Saints'.

Today (28 January) Father Tom explains why he finds the podcast so good.  You can hear what he's got to say in the multimedia panel on the right.

Join us every Monday until Lent as we visit schools in our diocese and celebrate the Year of Catholic Education by ‘Unfolding Wisdom with Our Saints’.  We do that by hearing from pupils who tell us about the dedication of their school and what that dedication means to them.

Previous episodes saw us visit:
St Bonaventure's Primary School in Bishopston, Bristol
St Francis Primary School in Nailsea
Holy Rood Junior School in Swindon
St Bede's Catholic College in Lawrence Weston, Bristol

The Director of our Department of Schools and College Ian McNiff has sent colourful posters to promote the series to all our schools and parishes.  If you’d like more posters you can download a print quality version from the multimedia panel on the right to put up in your community to let people know how our young people are playing their part in ‘Unfolding Wisdom’.

Check cliftondiocese.com next Monday to hear which of our schools will be ‘Unfolding Wisdom with Our Saints’.
