Fishpond’s Father Foxwell’s Thirty Years

Parishioners at St Joseph’s in Fishponds in Bristol are celebrating their parish priest’s 30th anniversary of ordination to the priesthood. Marilyn Reitano has more about Father Eric Foxwell's celebrations for cliftondiocese.com.
Father Eric said, “This was a good excuse to have a party.” St Joseph’s is a very multi-cultural community and this was celebrated last weekend. We gathered for a wonderful celebration of the Mass - the church was packed.
After we all gathered together for the party, everyone really loved the fact that the food and everyone gathered together really represented the wonderful community we have here at St Joseph’s.
This is in no small part due to the dedication that Father Eric has given to his vocation over the past 30 years. We are only grateful here at St Joseph’s that he is our Parish Priest. Father Eric we all thank you.
