Funeral Arrangements for Father Michael Cleary SVD - RIP

The funeral arrangements for Father Michael Cleary SVD, Parish Priest of St Mary-on-the-Quay in Bristol, have been confirmed.
Father Michael’s body will repose at the Chapel of Rest at Thomas Davis Undertakers, if people wish to go to pay their own personal respect. The contact details Thomas Davis, Southville Lodge, Southville Road, Bristol BS3 1DJ. Telephone 0117 966 3268.
Father Michael’s body will be received into St Mary-on-the-Quay on Tuesday 4 November at 5.30 pm. Mass will be celebrated by Father Brian O’Reilly SVD - the Provincial Superior. After the Mass there will be a vigil for the deceased until midnight.
Father Michael’s Requiem Mass will be celebrated by Right Reverend Declan Lang, Bishop of Clifton, in Clifton Cathedral, Bristol on Wednesday 5 November at 12.00 pm.
Burial will follow at Holy Souls Cemetery, Brislington, Bristol. A coach will be available from the Cathedral to transport people to cemetery. Food and refreshments will be available afterwards in the Apostle Room at the Cathedral. All are welcome.
Instead of flowers or floral tributes the priests of St Mary-on-the-Quay suggest a donation to CAFOD (Catholic Agency for Overseas Development), one of Father Michael’s favourite charities.
