Father Christopher Whitehead said:  “Our Guide to the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) was promised in Called to be a People of Hope. 

“I encourage parish priest to come along to this day and to bring with you at least one member of the parish RCIA Team.  If the RCIA is something you would like to establish in your parish then you are welcome to bring along with you those members of your parish who might support you in setting up such a team.  The day will focus on supporting and encouraging parishes in the work they do to enable the RCIA.

“The RCIA process can be an effective tool in the growth and mission of the parish.

“The launch is open to all, not only those already involved in the RCIA but also those who are thinking of forming a team.”

Refreshments will be available from 10.00 am. Please do bring a packed lunch.
