A top radio award headed West for the third year running when
cliftondiocese.com’s ‘The Budgerigar and the Prisoner’ podcast won the best internet audio award at the recent
Jerusalem Awards.
Mary Colwell produced the innovative advent reflection. She said: “Winning the Jerusalem Award for best internet audio for three years in a row was a great honour and I was delighted. The internet is a wonderful outlet for personal stories and I hope it encourages others to have a go.”
Mary collected the prize at a ceremony at the Royal Society of Arts in London.
As well as winning the Jerusalem Award ‘The Budgerigar and the Prison’ has received international recognition with the New York Festivals
World Gold Medal and the British radio Oscar - a
Sony Gold.
‘Let Us Pod - Bereavement’ won a
