The Committee's aim is to promote the healing ministry, in all its many dimensions, throughout the Clifton Diocese and to make it possible for all Roman Catholics to have easy access to this ministry. The Committee is available to parishes to provide resources and training for praying healing, sponsors the annual Diocesan Healing Service and World Day of the Sick and hopes to continue the practice, started in 2000, of hosting an annual conference or study day with workshops and a keynote speaker. The Committee is actively working with it counterparts in other traditions and seeks to encourage and develop ways in which the Healing Ministry may he restored to the heart of the Church.
