Home Mission Sunday in 2010 falls during the time of the Holy Father’s historic visit.
Clare Ward, the Home Mission Advisor told cliftondiocese.com: “Home Mission Sunday falls during the papal visit and parishes are invited to celebrate it as a day of prayer for the spread of the Gospel in England and Wales.
“Information will be sent to parishes closer to September. This year’s resource focus is to equip people to use the papal visit as a home mission opportunity, hence the creation of a number of parish resources in advance of 19 September.”
