This week cliftondiocese.com brings you a special podcast series to help you get to know the young people representing the Clifton Diocese at World Youth Day. Today we hear from two people from Swindon.
World Youth Day is the largest youth event in the world. It takes pace in Sydney from 15 to 20 July and around 15 young people from around the Clifton Diocese are taking part.
We chatted with some of our pilgrims at a recent meeting to finalise details of the trip. You can hear from them as cliftondiocese.com brings you a podcast a day throughout this week. Listen to and download today’s podcast in the multimedia panel on the right.
Yesterday we talked with Antonia and Rachel from Holy Family in Patchway, Bristol.
Today we hear from Lucy and Annabel from Swindon’s St Peter’s. Lucy went to the last World Youth Day in Germany in 2005. Annabel thinks it will be an uplifting experience before she begins university and will enjoy being in the Pope’s presence.
Amazingly two places have become available for this fantastic pilgrimage to World Youth Day! If you’d like to find out more call Ronnie Mitchinson on 0117 902 5595.
