CAFOD’s (Catholic Agency for Overseas Development) first 50 years will be mark with a cultural shared lunch at the famous St Nicholas of Tolentino Church later this month.
The parishes of our Bristol East Deanery are invited to forego their lunch and joining together on Sunday 21 March at St Nicholas of Tolentino Church, Lawford’s Gate, Bristol BS5
0RE. Mass is celebrated at 10.30 am
and the special lunch follows.
People will be able to buy their lunch at the inner-city Bristol parish as a fundraiser for CAFOD.
The suggested donation is just £2.00 per dish.
St Nick’s Parish Priest Father Richard McKay told cliftondiocese.com: “There will be food, songs and dance from many cultures and nations, as well as a short explanation of CAFOD’s work and its importance.
“Let us make this a real deanery success for the sake of the poor of the world. All are welcome.”
