Let Us Pod Well Received

04 December 2007

‘Let Us Pod’, the new audio series of podcast from cliftondiocese.com, has been well received so far.  Producer Mary Colwell talks about the interest she’s received and how the media, such at Vatican Radio, has been in touch to cover ‘Let Us Pod’.

Mary also highlights future plans for the audio programmes that reflect upon some of the biggest issues we all deal with in our lives - but specifically from a local and Christian perspective.

You can listen to Mary in the podcast in the multimedia panel on the right.

The first ever ‘Let Us Pod’ - ‘The Clifton Cathedral Podcast’ - recently won a national prize at the Jerusalem Awards.  The podcast came out the winner - against 10 others, including traditional broadcasters such as the BBC - in the new media category.

So far, this series of ‘Let Us Pod’ has covered ‘Being a student’ and ‘Bereavement’.  We bring you the next episode - ‘Migration’ - this Wednesday.

Still to come: ‘Vocations’, ‘Facing death’, ‘Fatherhood’, ‘Relationship breakdown’, ‘Confession’, and ‘Environment’.

We plan to bring you a new ‘Let Us Pod’ every Wednesday over the coming weeks.  Keep listening to ‘Let Us Pod’ and let us know what you think of the podcasts using the form below.
