Excellent exam results have been flooding in for successful students studying in Catholic schools and colleges throughout the Clifton Diocese.

At Prior Park in Bath pupils achieved the highest ever top grades with 67% of grades being at A and B level. 53% of pupils gained three or more As or Bs.

Notable successes were Andrew Johnson who gained a Choral Scholarship at Magdalen College, Oxford, the college’s second Choral Scholar at Magdalen and the fifth Choral Scholar to Oxbridge in the last four years. This is an outstanding achievement for any school and shows the musical talent of pupils and teachers within the community.

Tom Hole gained three A grades and two distinctions at Advanced Extension Award Level amongst a total 14 pupils gained Advanced Extension Awards at either distinction or merit level. Advanced Extension Awards are proving popular with both pupils and Universities showing the extra commitment by pupils to their subjects, and we were very pleased with the results this year.
