Cathedral parishioner and award-winning radio producer Mary Colwell features in the current issue of a Catholic magazine.
Justice is the new Catholic magazine focusing on international justice from a Catholic point of view.
Justice is out now and available in parishes and by mail order. Some branches of WHSmith stock it.
In the current issue Mary Colwell writes about the need for hope in the climate change battle and how that hope can come from religious communities and leaders.
Mary told cliftondiocese.com: “The Secretary General of the UN urged religious leaders to do all they can to help the world to pull together to combat the growing threat of catastrophic climate change. It was an important and timely request made at Windsor Castle where religious leaders from all over the world gathered to commit to long term changes towards the environment. This is vitally important because we are now in a position where more science and technology won’t necessarily help us.”
Mary also wrote from the debut issue of Justice.
The magazine is a full colour, 68 page bi-monthly title looking at the full spectrum of justice issues, from the Catholic perspective.
