Monsignor Mitchell - Funeral Arrangements

Details of the funeral of Monsignor Canon William Mitchell, a priest of the Clifton Diocese, who died on 29 August, have been confirmed. 

Monsignor Mitchell’s body will be received on Wednesday (3 September) at St Michael’s Church on Silver Street in Tetbury at 6.30 pm.

His Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Thursday (4 September) at 12.00 pm in St Mary the Virgin & St Mary Magdalen Anglican Parish Church in Tetbury.

The Mass is taking place at St Mary’s as St Michael’s is too small for the anticipated number of people wishing to attend.  Burial will take place at Holy Souls Cemetery, Arnos Vale in Bristol following the Mass.
