St Thomas More School in west Cheltenham fantastic new website is now online. Soon after the school’s remarkable turnaround from being in special measures to being declared ‘good’ by Ofsted the community has more to celebrate with its top new website.

Thanks to a generous donation from one of Cheltenham’s largest employers the school in Hesters Way has been able to redesign its website.

As a multi-national industrial engineering group with its headquarters in Cheltenham, Spirax Sarco understands how important it is to have an effective website to communication with customers.  Through their charitable trust, the company is delighted to be able to support St Thomas More School in the development of their new website.

Interim Headteacher Andy Darby said: “The new website is an exciting step forward in our journey to take our school to an outstanding standard.  We know that the work done by Montpellier Integrated and our marketing volunteer will assist people in gaining a better understanding of what St Thomas More Catholic Primary School is all about.  Without Spirax Sarco’s generous donation however we would have been unable to undertake any of this work.”

Mark Vernon, Chief Executive of Spirax Sarco said: “We hope the new website will help enable the children, parents and wider school community to experience firsthand how an effective website can improve the school’s profile and way in which they communicate with their local audience.”

The school selected a local design and marketing agency to work with them on this task.  Creative director of Cheltenham-based Montpellier Integrated Roger Taylor said: “It has been an interesting project to be involved with.  Not only have we redesigned the website but also the school’s marketing and advertising materials to reflect a brand image more in line with the standards of education provided at St Thomas More. We have tried to make the new website as user friendly and informative as possible to encourage parents and prospective parents to use it frequently.”
