Over a hundred people came to Bristol’s Council House for the launch of a major campaign on their behalf in the South West of England, where the ‘Living Ghosts’ had a chance to tell their stories. The launch was organised by ‘Living Ghosts - South West’a coalition of churches, asylum projects and individuals throughout the region of Bristol, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and Somerset, which is coordinated by the Clifton Diocese Justice and Peace Commission. The Catholic Bishops' Conference of England and Wales this week sent out half a million leaflets to parishes throughout the Clifton Diocese and across the country urging as many Catholics as possible to oppose moves to legalise euthanasia and assisted suicide by supporting the Care Not Killing Alliance.
