Diocesan Family Day: Saturday 1 July – keep the date free!

The Department of Adult Education has released initial details of the Diocesan Family Day inviting us to keep the date free! Bishop Declan is inviting our diocesan community to come together on Saturday 1 July for a day’s gathering and formation centred around living the gift of our baptism. Pope Francis reminds us that the new evangelisation calls for the personal involvement of all the baptised and so this day brings us together in the hope of sending us back renewed and refreshed. Most of all, the day seeks to celebrate what it means to be the family of our diocese.

Volunteer Overseas with Jesuit Mission

Jesuit Missions currently offers placements in Africa, and South and Central Asia. They will give you the unique opportunity to work alongside Jesuits in some of the poorest and most disadvantaged communities around the world. You may be teaching English in a Jesuit school, or running holiday clubs and activities for children and young people of all ages, or be involved in community projects.
