Notes on Newman - The Discussion

Our new series of podcasts introducing us to Cardinal John Henry Newman started yesterday (8 August) on cliftondiocese.com.  As a follow-up to yesterday’s episode we now bring you a discussion on ‘The Life of Newman’.

You can listen to our podcast in the multimedia panel on the right. ‘The Life of Newman - The Discussion’ features Salisbury-based Newman scholar Joyce Sugg in discussion with the Clifton Diocese Papal Visit Coordinator Father Michael McAndrew.

Yesterday (8 August) saw the start of our ‘Notes on Newman’ series with ‘The Life of Newman’ which was written and narrated by Joyce.

In the coming weeks we’ll hear from more local Newman scholars who’ll give us an insight into life of the man the Pope Benedict XVI will beatify here in England next month.

Next Sunday (15 August) Dr Mervyn Davies, Scholar in Residence at Sarum College in Salisbury, brings up ‘Newman’s Importance Today’.
