In today’s podcast Father Michael emphasises this year’s visit of Pope Benedict XVI will be very
different to the last papal visit in 1982. The official website thepapalvisit.org.uk is the
best place to find out the most up-to-date information in the build up
to the special time in the life of the Church in our countries. The top
quality website will also provide the best coverage during the
visit - a great place for you to follow the visit virtually.
You can also make your donation towards the visit at the official website. It's simple, secure and direct.
Recently cliftondiocese.com brought you news of the vision Archbishop Vincent Nichols has for the papal visit. The President of the Bishops' Conference of England and Wales, enthusiastically discussed September's papal visit in response to a journalist's question at a recent Mass and lecture to mark the 2010 World Communications Day.
Father Michael recommends the weekly audio updates from Monsignor Andrew Summersgill the Papal Visit Coordinator. Monsignor Andrew’s updates come from the official website thepapalvisit.org.uk and last week's update is still online.
