Parishioner Appeals for Kenya

29 January 2008

Grace Wambui, a parishioner at St Nicholas of Tolentino in Easton, Bristol is working with the Kenyan community across Bristol to ask for donations to support displaced people.  Together with the British Red Cross, Grace is looking for, amongst other things, clothes and shoes.

Grace is one of the organisers of a general interdenominational prayer and fundraising meeting.  It will be held on Saturday 9 February at The CEED Hall, 97 - 107 Wilder Street, St Pauls, Bristol BS2 8QU from 2.00 pm to 6.00 pm.

You can contact Grace on 07789 347541 for more information.

Earlier this month, cliftondiocese.com brought you a first hand report from Kenya when parishioners from Weston-super-Mare emailed their news to us direct from Africa.  And, of course, CAFOD has been giving aid to the displaced.
