A student poet who’s a member of the University of Bristol Catholic Chaplaincy has made cliftondiocese.com a special seasonal podcast reflecting on the poetry of Geoffrey Hill and relating that to the Lent Season.
We’re bringing you two podcasts today. First Joe Cook talks about Geoffrey Hill. Joe regards as the greatest poet currently writting in Englsih. he tells us a little about him and he reads from Hill's 'Funeral Music' for us.
In our second podcast, our Chaplain at the University of Bristol Catholic Chaplaincy, Father Robert King, speaks with Joe about his love of poetry and how it relates to Lent.
