The
Avon and Somerset Constabulary Male Voice Choir entertained people in our Nailsea parish.
St Francis of Assisi Parish Priest Father Sam Ofia MSP welcomed everyone and thanked them for supporting the event and wished them an enjoyable evening.
The choir were in good voice and the audience were delighted with the nostalgia of the wartime music contained in the medley of swing songs and also the collection of songs from the shows including Les Miserables and Chess.
The audience were further indulged by the soloist of the evening, Tom Jones, a versatile and skilful trumpet player.
Everyone that came along to the evening had a really good time and thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
The concert was a fund raising event for the parish and the money raised is to go towards the Lenten project that is to replenish livestock for the village of Grandcess, Liberia. The evening was a great success and an amazing £714 was raised towards the project.
