Police Visit Parish for Performance

20 February 2010
Location: St Francis of Assisi Church
Address: Ash Hayes Road, Nailsea, Bristol BS48 2LP
Time: 7.30 pm

St Francis of Assisi parish in Nailsea is welcoming members of the Avon and Somerset Constabulary.  The talented law enforcers are coming to sing at a special charity concert.

St Francis parishioner Carole Brown has worked hard to set up the Avon and Somerset Constabulary Male Voice Choir performance that will help people in Africa.

Carole told cliftondiocese.com: “The funds raised from this event will go towards our Lenten parish project which this year is to replace livestock devastated by the rebel conflict in Grandcess, Liberia. This project was nominated by Father Sam Ofia who has recently joined St Francis as our Parish Priest. Father Sam worked at St Patrick’s Church in Grandcess for a number of years before coming to the UK and has a close link with this community. He has experienced at firsthand what the rebel conflict has done to this community.”

Tickets are a bargain £8.00 and that including refreshments.  You can pick tickets up from Nailsea Music Shop or buy them after 9.00 am and 10.30 am Sunday Masses at St Francis.
