Seasonal Schools Sounds

15 December 2007

This Advent cliftondiocese.com brings you a celebratory series featuring some of the many talented musicians and singers in schools around the Clifton Diocese.

In our podcasts, Clifton Diocese Director of Music Richard Jeffrey-Gray will give his expert thoughts on the seasonal performances.

We begin with St Patrick’s Primary from Corsham in Wiltshire performing ‘Noche de Paz’ – that’s ‘Silent Night’ in Spanish.

You can download this special podcast in the multimedia panel on the right.

In his discussion Richard Jeffrey-Gray talks about the wonderful warm of the sun the singing of 'Noche de Paz' brought him.

The podcast also includes a clip of pupils singing ‘Angels’ – the Robbie Williams classic, about which Richard talks of the song’s qualities of redemption.

Both tracks are taken from St Patrick’s latest album ‘Forty Years On and Still Going Strong’.
