Clifton Diocese student for the priesthood Matt Anscombe is supporting CAFOD (Catholic Agency for Overseas Development) by running in this year's Great South Run. Matt’s aiming to raise at least £500.
Matt is currently studying at St John's Seminary in Wonersh and is fitting in his training session whilst doing some reading for a dissertation.
Matt says, “I've decided to run the Great South Run to raise money for CAFOD. I'm asking for your support to ensure that I can raise as much money as possible to help support CAFOD's vital work.
“CAFOD needs your help to continue helping the world's poorest communities, and those affected by conflict or natural disaster.
“I'm hoping that you will sponsor me on the 10 mile Great South Run. You can do it through my Justgiving page.
“Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It's also the most efficient way to sponsor me because CAFOD gets your money faster and, if you're a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation. So please sponsor me now! Thank you.”
If you'd like to raise funds for CAFOD this way and run with Matt in Team CAFOD, contact Catherine Leeson on 020 7095 5536 to register.
