St Luke’s Learning for Our Clergy

Priests and deacons spent today (24 November) focussed on St Luke as they took part in a special day of ongoing formation.

The day attracted clergy from throughout our diocese.  It was organised by our Director of Ongoing Formation for Priests, Father Christopher Whitehead, as part of a series of events designed to affirm priestly ministry.   Such events are especially relevant during the current Year for Priests.

Father Peter Edmonds SJ is an expert in the life of St Luke.  His book ‘Rediscover Jesus’ was bought by several of the clergy taking part in the day.  cliftondiocese.com will be giving you the chance of winning a copy.  Our completion will appear in the Clifton Diocese newsletter soon - that’s our email featuring a selection of our stories and events.  Often the newsletter has competitions with many top prizes.
