St Mary-on-the Quay's Ecumenical Advent Talks
St Mary-on-the-Quay Catholic Church in the heart of Bristol City Centre
has teamed up with other local christians to put on an exciting series
of talks for Advent.
Father Michael Cleary, Parish Priest of St Mary-on-the-Quay, Reverend John Houseago of Broadmead Baptist Church and Canon Brendan Clover the Dean of Bristol Cathedral have arranged the three talks be given on the Advent petition “Thy Kingdom Come!”
The first is to be given at Broadmead Baptist Church by Rabbi Francis Berry of the Bristol and West Progressive Jewish Congregation
on 29 November.
The second by a member of the Churches Council for Industry and Social Responsibility (ISR) again at Broadmead Baptist Church on 6 December.
The third will be given by Father Brian O’Reilly SVD here at St Mary-on-the Quay on 13 December.
All talks begin at 7.30 pm and are open to all.
