A talk and discussion led by internationally award-winning radio producer and Clifton Cathedral parishioner Mary Colwell. Mary was the inspiration behind Clifton Cathedral's wonderful Sound of Many Waters.
Even the term 'The Environment' conjures up feelings of hopelessness, the problems seem so huge and overwhelming. But Christians are called to respond with hope and creativity. Doing nothing is not an option, but by taking our Christian responsibility seriously the future is full of new possibilities, and perhaps a new world order within which we can tackle poverty and injustice as well as the destruction of the natural environment. This talk and discussion will challenge and inspire us to think in a new way about our future and the future of the natural world.
This is the part of a series of informal discussions - The Christian Faith in the 21st Century - encouraging Catholics to explore the relation between their faith and important contemporary ideas.
They'll be coffee and biscuits available and all are welcome.
When you arrive entering at the top car park, go left down four steps and into the door on the right.
